How does Hietzing score with your own priorities?

The standard LAGE weighs its five parts equally. If the stop matters more to you than the quiet, set your own priorities, and the map of Vienna colours every neighbourhood by your own LAGE. The story on living in Vienna gives the same figures for the whole city.

How we counted

The address register of the BEV gives every address, and each address counts once, however many flats it has. Road noise comes from the strategic noise maps 2022 of the federal ministry BMLUK, as Lden at the loudest facade, and flood areas from the flood risk zones of the BMLUK. The air figures come from the models of the European Environment Agency, public transport from the ÖROK classes 2025, and parks and shops from OpenStreetMap and the city's directories. The residents come from the population series of the City of Vienna, MA 23, for 2008 to 2025. The data is from 12 October 2026.

The district figures count every address in Hietzing, and the neighbourhood table keeps the 46 neighbourhoods with at least 30 addresses. The method explains each part of LAGE.

Every figure in this story comes from the same open data as the maps and address pages of Lagecheck, counted per address from the address register. The data stands as of 12 October 2026.
