How we counted
The address register of the BEV gives every address, and each address counts once, however many flats it has. Road noise comes from the strategic noise maps 2022 of the federal ministry BMLUK, as Lden at the loudest facade, and flood areas from the flood risk zones of the BMLUK for 30, 100 and 300 years. The air figures come from the models of the European Environment Agency, public transport from the ÖROK classes 2025, and parks and shops from OpenStreetMap and the city's directories. The data is from 12 October 2026.
The figures for Innere Stadt count every address in the cadastral community, and the neighbourhood table keeps the 8 neighbourhoods with at least 30 addresses. The method explains each part of LAGE.
